War at Flood Tide, Inc. has a number of opportunities for individuals and businesses active in the community to contribute to the success of Charleston's June 12-14, 1998 Civil War weekend by sponsoring aspects of the event. War at Flood Tide, Inc., is a non-profit educational corporation chartered by the State of South Carolina and contributions are tax deductable. All sponsors receive a color recognition certificate suitable for framing. Proceeds will be applied to event expenses including the cost of gunpowder for the cannons. Net proceeds of this event will go to a Civil War related historic preservation project in the City of Charleston

Band Concert - Saturday evening Civil War and Patriotic Music by the Trident Community Band, closing with canon salute $500 Sponsor will receive full page advertisement on back on concert program, announcement during concert, recognition on public schedules and on event web site. Signs provided by sponsor can be posted. Sponsor may fire first shot during artillery salute that closes concert.

Parade through downtown Charleston. Four mounted cannon, 20 cavalry, Infantry and other units. $300 Sponsor of Parade will be recognized in event program and on web site. Receives framed photograph of parade after the event. Banner provided by sponsor may be carried at head of parade.

Battery of Artillery, two or more cannon. 3 available. $400 Sponsor will be recognized in event program, on web site and during battle radio broadcast. Receives framed photograph of battery after event. Sponsor may fire fist shot from battery. Receives commemorative cannon ball and framed photograph of battery.

20 lb. Parrot Rifle, War at Flood Tide's largest cannon. 3 available $200 Sponsor will be recognized in event program, on web site and during battle radio broadcast. Sponsor may fire first shot from his gun. Receives Framed photograph of his canon and crew.

Voyager Ship Battery, The guns of the Federal Navy, strike a blow for the Union! 4 guns mounted on a 105 foot schooner. $250 Sponsor will be recognized in event program, on web site and during battle radio broadcast. Receives framed photograph of his canon and crew and Civil War era U.S flag flown from ship during battle.

Mountain Howitzer (Canon) our smallest Canon, the guns of Castle Pinckney $75 Sponsor will be recognized in event program, on web site and during battle radio broadcast. Receives framed photograph of his canon and crew.

Flagpole on Castle Pinckney $10 per foot Sponsor will receive recognition certificate and listing on website. 30 feet of pole will be sold.

Powder Donor $25 Sponsor receives recognition certificate, commemorative gunpowder can and listing on website.

Other Other War at Flood Tide needs building materials, firewood and other supplies. Appropriate recognition arrangements will be made.
