Island Belle To Serve as Media Boat for Harbor Battle, Sat. June 13

Ben Cook, Managing Partner of Cook Ventures has graciously offered to provide the media with a special cruise to observe and film or tape the Harbor Battle. The 90 Foot Luxury Yacht Island Belle will leave from the Charleston Municipal Marina on the Ashley river at 10:30 a.m. and return after the Battle at 12:00 noon. War at Flood Tide Board Member Linda Pinckney will be on board with press information. To obtain a postion for your film or video crew, pick up press credentials from War at Flood Tide on Friday or Saturday Morning at the main camp at 70 East Bay Street and contact Ben Cook at 800 673-4633 or (803) 958-0200. Tickets for this cruise will also be available to the public and may be obtained from the same number.

Gen. Beauregard available for Press Interviews

Tom Watson as Beauregard Actor Tom Watson, pictured right, who will portray Gen. P.T.G. Beauregard and Robert Bellflower of his staff will be avialble for interviews Thursday afternoon and Friday. Video Footage of Last Year's event is in the files of WIS Television in Columbia, SC and South Carolina Educational Television, which hold copyrights to that material. Please contact those organizations directly for video footage. A brief overview of last year's event with the WIS report is online.

Graphic Images are available online from our War at Flood Tide Image Gallery. Organizations needing actual photographic prints, may fax a request on their organizations letterhead.
