Weekends, U.D.C. Museum Open

The U.D.C. Museum is open on Saturdays and Sunday from 12 - 4 p.m. at 34 Pitt Street, three blocks West of King, Between Wentworth & Calhoun. An amazing collection of Confederate relics are on display.

Civil War Walking tour
Wed - Sunday, begins at 9:00 a.m. at the Mills House Hotel 2 hour tour, moderate walking covers core Civil War Historic District Wheelchair compatible Guide also uses 1865 Charleston photos to illustrate locations toured Charleston. The Battle of Secessionville, Nov. 13 - 14

This years reenactment of the battle will take place on November 13 & 14. On Friday, Nov. 12, we will have a parade, which will begin at 10:00 a.m., at White Point Gardens and proceed to Magnolia Cemetery. At 2:00 p.m. we will have the ceremony and reinteer the remains of the 23 sailors we exhumed from Johnson Hagood Stadium, at the Citadel. The ceremony for Hunley sailors will be seperate, and has not been announced at this time. Please join us in this event. This will be a rare opportunity to take part in a burial service for our Confederate heroes. If you need additional information, please send an E-Mail....
